I'm guessing at least 75% of us are literally drowning in digital photos. InfoTrends’ 2014 Worldwide Image Capture Forecast estimates consumers will take 1 trillion photos in 2015. One TRILLION?!?!?!
But I have great news AND a solution for you to manage your piece of that trillion... there's a new photo organizing software on the scene to rescue us from the chaos. It's called Mylio. The product went public earlier this year after many top-notch professional photographers beta tested it for an entire year. I'm going to let you in on a little secret... professional photographers, people who take thousands and thousands of pictures each year, often have minimal systems in place to organize their photos. Guess what? They all raved about Mylio and its ability to organize their collections!
I'm happy to say I'm a fan as well. It takes a lot to impress me when it comes to photo organizing software, but this one did the job. It's the first product I've been able to get excited about and feel comfortable recommending to my clients.
There are so many reasons I love it, but the main reason is because the organization occurs OUTSIDE the software and on your hard drive. The software is more like a portal into your hard drive's files & folders. If the company should ever go bankrupt, all your hard work still exists outside the software itself. The organization isn't dependent on the software! This fact alone made me fall in love. So many companies want in to the rapidly growing photo industry and many of them are going belly up just as folks are getting comfortable using their products. I'm not saying Mylio will fail, but if it does, you won't lose all those hours of organizing time and that's something to cheer about!
Another thing I love about the software is that it quickly and easily syncs between all attached devices. For instance, I have all 44K+ photos in my personal collection currently on my iPhone in the Mylio app. That would typically be unheard of, but Mylio is only syncing Thumbnails of my images to my phone and the software is able to compress them so much, that my entire collection barely takes up any space on my phone, yet the images are perfectly and clearly viewable on my device. Who else can claim such a miraculous feat?!?!
Mylio is very user-friendly, intuitive and easy to learn. Your photos look AMAZING within the software and the tagging/keywording process is a breeze.
Another bonus with Mylio is that it allows photo organizers like me the ability to remotely organize our clients' photos. That means I do all the work from my home computer (I don't even need to remotely access your computer!) and you get to ENJOY the fruits of my labor! I have several clients already using my services for remote organizing, so if this peaks your interest, don't hesitate to contact me to learn more! In the mean time, go check it out for yourself. Mylio offers a free 30-day trial so there's nothing to lose!
